well  this is what bhayandar gang decided to do..:)

this was a brainchild of  mr. Jongiya (recently booked – i mean married, and also responsible for booking the tickets though), the previous  evening we all get a phone call “kadak offer hai booking maru kya ?”

without much thought all of us agreed…one synonymous reply was ” lock karo re !” (patent statement by dhile nawab)

so this Saturday morning was different, 6’0 clock sharp was the time we set our alarms shamelessly set off ruining our  dreams…i was tempted to snooze it off and get about half an hour of  sleep extra, to add to the misery  Naks rang up on my office cell phone (which has a typical loud gujju ringtone, capable of disturbing the best of environment), so jigs, naks, me and munna had to get together to bike our way thru the famous WE highway…

Of course no one had taken a bath, (i at least brush my teeth)…so ifeel less guilty..

i call up nakul to tell munna to come at his place, nakul calls up munna that gather at his place, munna tells “panni bhar raha hoon, cant someone come to pick me up”, nakul gets pissed off, he has a reason to, he’s fedup of managing and mediating amongst us “kids”, every freaking time he ends up mediating and convincing us members to co-ordinate and communicate better..

looking at his face i agree to pickup munna alongwith nakul and get them to jigars place, (we end up returning triple seated  :-O )…

ok…so munna joins me and nakul and jigs ride together (i mean on a bike)…

had to halt like one of those “Dhaba” drivers at Kashi mira to have the morning tea, the morning cold was chilling though The ever smart naks and jigs were fully dressed for biking like with jackets and monkey caps n stuff….while i and munna wished if we could just had worn extra garments inside..(out of jealousy and cold of course)

So here we are vrooming our bikes to set of to Cine max – kandivali, to see or rather witness the so much talked about graphic extravaganza called “Avatar”…….this was our 2nd “3d” movie that had to be seen wearing extra glasses (i need one pair by default), the first one was Ice age 3d…

The movie was cool, though it had a typical storyline with Us army stuff and scientists which also turn aliens etc etc, but the graphics were one thing which set everything apart….infact at some point of time we all felt the aliens looked smarter than humans..overall it was a different experience..

as we left the in the morning empty stomach, we decided to hav some breakfast @ 11 (after the movie ended)..

i knew it would be some greasy stuff  like usual so we walked our way near station which had some good outlets..on the way Nakul was discussing about how he intends to book one of the skyscrapers so that we could all have live in it…..(we appreciate his thinking), we felt even more happy as sun was up and those extra jackets and stuff (show- shine stuff) nakul and jigar had picked were only extra baggage to carry then….i felt 5kg lighter…:)

finally after having a guilt filled breakfast..we were on our way back…this trip was not essentially a bike trip but biking was an exciting part though…

pshh..we had hard time convincing Nakul that “Aliens especially,  beautiful Aliens dont exists !!!”

hahaha…

Yeah in 3-4 jobs that i have changed in my career, the last day was perhaps the most exciting…why ? cause it was always associated with new beginnings…..most of the colleagues wish you luck,,,and you would find much more sentiments working on the last day rather than a routine work day..its like a farewell you enjoy in the college leaving behind the memories…..

Moving on without the burden of past is one of the qualities i would want to deeply inculcate within me…

Imagine our bollywood stars voting and proudly displaying the ink mark…to validate that they have completed their responsibility to vote for the decisive govt..true very true….everybody voted hoping for the nation to grow from strength to strength….

But why they hell did they decide to put the ink mark on the wrong finger… i could not stop laughing when i see some stars displaying the wrong finger with a mysterious smile….i wonder what was the reason behind the smiles….of course voting is satisfying but not so much..

in all the ad campaigns earlier the idea was the ink would be put on index finger and not in the middle one….

So this was the occasion when you could flaunt off your middle finger to anyone…without being offensive…(now you got a reason….this is a proof i voted….and in return he/she could return you the same gesture..:) )

But some stars like aamir and ranbir were decent enough to categorically not to show the middle finger on a standalone basis …rather they opted to show all the fingers at once..

However so the abysmal voter turnout…ruined the show..i personally feel the extended holiday…was a deliberate disaster in shooing away job ridden people to go out for a holiday…and it worked…why cant the elections be held on a holiday…

Anyway, i will still laugh out loud when celebrities show off that i have voted…

After a lot of convincing from Naks….(pleading, shouting, abusing….in ascending order of sequence)…

             He put up an idea of a bike trip in the wee hours of morning from our place right to pune expressway !….at first when they put up this idea at Golden Chariot while boozing,(Jigs, Munna and union leader Naks)….i thought it was some kinna joke crap or plain booze, but no…they were serious and when i flatly refused to go the next morning the three of them were so pi**ed off, 

             But our union leader Naks didn’t give up, he again bothered me on this Saturday (my 26th birthday) again….with a lot of optimism..in his voice as if i had already agreed and was just waiting for his signal…..a bike trip from Bhayandar to Panvel (approx 55km one way) that too on a highway was a dream come true..an aspirational thing for all of us…in bhayandar gang…but this Sunday morning was different…a trend breaker i would say….

          It all begin at around 5 am when we just woke put ourselves in Jeans and Tee’s, and gathered at our assembly point….below naks house on the famous 60feet road….but as it happens, some jerk has to be late…this time it was munna, he was still getting acclimatized…so we had to send jigs with his discover to pick him up….that marked the beginning of our trip….though we were committed to drive at around 50kmph…to be safe some jerk has to defy rules this time it was me .:)

          We filled up our gas tanks around INR 150 worth of gasoline at HP petrol pump just crossing kashimira towards thane…so was the euphoria in driving in beautiful wee hours on the highway, naks who was  seated behind my Unicorn…thought of similar expressways in USA and smelt the same fragrance on a highway (??) he .started screaming in his typical funny tone …we enjoyed it…..it was a big adventure for us…we enjoyed every bit of it….finally as the dawn was setting in we took our first halt at some limb timb hotel at kapurbawdi junction which is at the Thane city Limit..ordered  TEA, jalebi’s and Greasy FAFDA’s…..that filled our tanks…i ordered some extra bhaakarvadi’s too…but those wr’nt so crisp…

       Anyway, as jigs bike is a 125cc m/c, and mine a 150cc one….munna had to change sides….and then we started onto Thane-Belapur road..again, sometime ahead i observed there was some kind of low inflation on jigs rear tyre..so we insisted on filling some air into it….fortunately for us…there was a tyre wala nearby..things were going ok up to now…until our Dhile nawab’s (Naks) blackberry dabba rang….naks was up again giving support over phone to some one…we thought must be normal…but it stretched.so long munna found some time to learn the basics of biking ….it took almost 20 odd mins for naks to wind up his stuff…..so we were on again…

       Then came one of the most interesting part of the trip as we reached vashi – CBD flyover we did not go over it but went from below instead-delibarately , because i had something more adventurous in mind…..this was a spiral bypass from the junction wherein a 2wheeler could climb  from below if it missed the flyover and wanted to enter vashi he could take this  spiral and climb down from another spiral which landed in vashi and these two spirals were connected by a min flyover…just enough for two 2 wheelers to pass by, but the fun part was ascent and then descent from the spiral…it was almost like a roller coaster to climb up and climb down…which was pure adrenaline and fun…..jigs/naks and munna were definelty in for a surprise…

      We finally were on to panvel with smooth straight roads….with vehicles speeding on it like nobody’s business…atlast we got to saw the express way starting point…but two wheelers were’nt allowed on the same…so we had to take a U-turn from the circle underneath…to our left was kamothe village with MCGM campus for medical and engineering college….we thought of Mitul who did his Bio med eng from this institute….

        On the return journey i goofed up i took a flyover to vashi instead of going straight to Thane..so i had to take a u turn and agin climb the flyover…this time something dangerous happened i did not anticipate a steep curve on the flyover and while turning left i was riding speedily ove extreme right….which made me vulnerable to brushing the wall on the flyover….i was scared and so was munna…but somehow managed to get the bike again on track…thank god for this…

        The final halt was at Sanman hotel at kapurbawdi junction again…had some refreshments and finally home at arounf 10.30 am…..our backs were aching we had to rest to again gear up for moiz’z wedding function tonight…

   ….the first biking experience…

We too attend this show every five years or sometimes more frequently, its called the “Elections”….analysts spend lot of time arguing which one has the gold coin and which would actually be the best bet for the audience….

Its time for us to ask the politicians to show us the real gold with open fists and head strong agenda for our future…for a better nation a better world…..

Exactly a year later i again had that gruesome Kidney stone pain….crying too was difficult as i could not concentrate on crying…..

2-3 hours of Actual authentic hellish experience…i thought blogging about this would encourage people to prevent this disorder…

1) Have lots of water in any season 

2) Eat less of outside food…esp pulses/cereals/dal which are not properly segregated from tiny stones..which later on precipitate to form painful calcium deposits….

Stay healthy….after some relief i understood….it makes a a lot of  sense taking precautionary effort to keep the body in perfect order..
